Welcome!

This blog is dedicated to the story behind "Wonderland", which is an intricate world of magic, fantasy, and creatures of lore. Nothing is what it seems and how confusing is that? So, like Virgil guided Dante, my sole purpose here is to guide all of you!
So click on links and check around! I have tried my best to dissect and explain each and every cog of the large wheel that makes up my world of characters. However, if you see something amiss, or the website isn't working for you, drop me a line and let me know! I appreciate you stopping by!

The Druls

Overview
  • Elemental creatures that also have the gift of prophecy and are greatly known for their healing and their blue fire, which can burn anything and is immune to water.
  • They can be great allies or terrible enemies.
  • Drul's are solitary creatures and roam often.
  • Are shape-shifters, so their natural form is generally unknown.
  • Capable of willing their magic to others, though this is not a common practice. Magic is meant to hone, nourish, and use for the common good.
  • Are known to breed with other species, which is considered in all societies strictly taboo. The children born to human and Drul parents may have given rise to modern-day "witches" and "cunning folk".
  • Are extremely sensual creatures and often during coitus capable of bonding with another through their energy force. Only with mates can the bond remain indefinitely.
  • The more magic used, the less stable the Drul's become.
  • In the Drul belief system, not returning to the earth after their death is considered the worst possible punishment received.
  • Despite their loner nature, they are quite mischievous and often play tricks on other Drul's, Lunar, Gargoyles, and humans. They avoid the Raspans like a plague, however, unless association serves a greater purpose (which is rarely ever).
  • There is no sense of hierarchy within the Drul society.
  • It is a rumor that the Drul's were forced by Elite Raspan's and Fuyher himself to will their magic to the Raspan's, thus increasing their capabilities. It is also said that many Raspan camps take Drul's as hostages to use as healers and entertainment, torturing them for their magic and powers.
