Raspans

Overview

• They feed on dead vegetation and carcasses (like vultures), though raw meat will suffice if necessary. The craving for Gargoyle flesh both evolved the Raspan's and made them victim to their needs. Despite this, they are cunning, merciless, and powerful warriors that obey commands given only by their Commander, or the one who displays the most dominance.
• Are rat-like in appearance, with black fur, pointed fleshy ears, razor-sharp teeth, elongated claws, and roughly the size of an African elephant (10-13 ft at the shoulder).
• Evolved Raspan's are distinguished by their sleeker frame, ability to change from Raspan form to anamorphic form, and red eyes. Evolved Raspans are known as "Elitists".
• "Elitists" are to be addressed by either the male proper (Example: Taxim-se, -se being the male proper) or the female proper (EX: Bayothet-si, -si being the female proper)
• It is legend that the Raspan's and the Gargoyles were born from the same womb, from Lilith, but both species will deny this vehemently. They will agree, however, that they were nurtured from a human woman, thus giving them their humanity. Raspan's in particular were born of the mating between a human female and a rat-like shedu.

Fuyher

• Fuyher(-se) = FEW-HAIR (say) [Name note: this was a spin-off of Fürher, the German word for "leader". It's taboo now to use Fuerher (becauses of its association with Hitler, which if anyone noticed, Fuyher takes many cues from), and I thought it would be appropiate to label the Raspan "King" as such.]

Fuyher is an anomaly in the Raspan species, as he was born in a permanent anamorphic (animal and human) form. Also, unlike his predecessors and siblings, he is more connected to his magic than they are and capable of taking the energy and life force of others to sustain himself, attributing to his long life. He was also born a freethinker, not capable of being conformed into a herd (similar to the myths of the werewolves and their alpha). His abnormal intelligence, exponential strength, seemingly limitless power and magic are all key factors into the makings of this abnormal Raspan. Fuyher is bloodthirsty and ruthless, using his cunning to achieve his ultimate goal: World Domination and the Enslavement of the Human Race.

Táxim

• Táxim(-se) = TAX-EEM (say) [Name note: this is a spin-off of Taksim, which in its Arabic form means "division" or "distribution".]

Táxim, or Thatcher, as he is better known, is the bastard son of Fuyher and a Gargoyle/Drul hybrid mother who is killed soon after Thatcher is born. He is the only hybrid of his kind, being Raspan, Gargoyle, and Drul. Like his father, his magic, power, and intelligence greatly exceed that of the rest of his species and of many others both human and not. Thatcher is compassionate where his father is cruel, patient where his father is merciless. Fuyher is unaware of his son's existence, as Thatcher was supposed to have been killed after his birth, which gives Thatcher the ultimate advantage. His humanity is directly linked to his true mate, Tempest, whose fluctuating emotions often cause Thatcher's own internal imbalance. It is this weakness that he fears the most.
